Who's this?? A young Miss Rowena :-)

Miss Rowena started dancing at the age of 5 in Norwood Green, but at the 1st lesson she refused to join in a Ballet class until she had the proper shoes!  Miss Rowena progressed through grades & medals tests in Ballet, Character, National, Mime, & Modern dance with The British Arts & Ballet, Tap, & Modern with the I.S.T.D. & Ballet with the RAD. 

Miss Rowena attended various dancing schools to further her knowledge of dance and attending Dance College in Watford where she gained her Associate Ballet with the I.S.T.D. also she is a member of the Royal Academy of Dancing and has gained her Elementrary Teachers Certificate in Ballet & Tap with the British Arts.  Miss Rowena loves performing and has appeared on Barrymore and in a dance film about Ballet for Sky TV.  She has also taken part in amateur productions of The Sleeping Beauty,The Nutcracker, Cinderella peforming the role of The FairyGodmother, & A Midsummer Nights Dream.

Although she loves performing Miss Rowena enjoys teaching children and young people a truly amazing art form.  Nothing gives her more pleasure to see pupils of R.J.A.D. perform and enjoy dancing as a hobby or as a career.
